It is a comprehensive online tool that allows you to generate a variety of QR Codes and supports a lot of different output options. You can also generate high resolution QR Codes in EPS and other vector formats.
Every functionality of our Esponce QR Code platform is also offered for free but
with some limitations.
To generate QR Codes manually or start using API you do not need to be a registered user. To use advanced features such as tracking, mobile apps, mass QR Code creation you need to sign up.
It lasts for 14 days and during this time all features are unlocked.
You need to generate code with use of shortener (esp.to).
During sign up you need to provide a valid email address and confirm your registration in the email that will be forwarded to you. If your password doesn't work or it is not valid you can reset it. Reset link is visible on login screen.

That means that you will be able to print generated QR Codes in many formats without losing any quality. We support EPS, SVG and XAML formats.
When entering phone numbers you are allowed to enter only numbers, spaces and + at the beginning (international format). Dashes, slashes, dots, parenthesis are not allowed.

QR Codes are generated by Denso Wave standard and they should work equally on all devices. Unfortunately not all QR readers were built equally and for every mobile platform you have a lot of different QR readers. Most of the problems come with scanning vCards and other more complex content. If you have problems with reading QR Codes on your smart phone please try out Esponce QR Reader
When you enter URL of a web page you need to check what you get when you visit this URL with your smart phone, as viewing it on your desktop browser may not be 100% dependable. Why? Some websites have optimized mobile version that are not the same as the desktop version (they recognize that you are visiting it from smart phone) and provide you with some another content or they might redirect you to the homepage of their mobile version.
If you are using a mobile phone download a QR Code reader application by your choice, open the application, scan the QR Code with embedded camera and application will show you the content.
If you are using web browser look under the Decode tab, upload a QR Code image and wait for it to decode the message. Alternatively use web cam to scan a printed QR Code.
Yes. Raw content is displayed using web interface under the Decode tab or in mobile application Esponce QR Code Reader (shake your phone).
When a QR Code is printed in a publication or on a product it usually points to some URL address (hidden optimized online content) or to some other content (vCard, geo location, etc.). With a dynamic code you can change the content of your existing QR Code (i.e. URL address) anytime in the future without affecting the already printed code, this makes your QR Code more universal and usable and could save you additional printing costs. This option is available only for Tracking PRO and Premium plans.
It has all features of dynamic QR Codes plus you have the ability to schedule content of your chosen trackable QR Code. You need to specify the exact date or day in a week when the content of the QR Code will be changed. If the schedule expires or is not active for the current day then the default content of the trackable QR Code is used.

If your code has a direct URL inside or some other content that is displayed directly (after scanning) then it cannot not be trackable by default. However if you created a free code by using our http://esp.to shortener then we can migrate it into your tracking portfolio.
You can create unlimited number of trackable QR Codes but for the old codes (below the amount that subscription plan allows) you can not view the statistics. Those old codes are still active and trackable. Please increase the capacity by buying new codes.
Statistics can be exported into various formats: Excel, CSV, XML.

Right now, we use 640px width x proportional height in px for smartphones and 1920px width x proportional height in px for tablets. So, height is resized proportionally according to the original image (we keep the image aspect ratio). We also scale the image to fill the phone screen width (100%).
For example, if you want an image for iPhone4 which has a resolution of 640x960px then you will need to have the image that has the exact 1.5 aspect ratio (i.e. 2000x3000px).

You need to get the Branding option and allow only a particular client under your White Label to use it.
There isn't a special signup process for a White Label account. All you need to do is to create an account and you are ready to start customizing your White Label settings, adding clients and giving them access to generate QR Codes and Mobile apps. However some of these features will not work after the trial period.
You can add clients any time and each of your clients can access WL solution through your URL for a trial period of 14 days. When the client generates a trackable code he is using your shortener. After the expiration of his trial period he can still log in through your URL login page if you purchase WL otherwise his access is denied. The purpose of the trial period is that you can show your clients the WL solution and get them interested.
As soon as your shortlink URL is verified you and your client's newly generated QR Codes will use your shortlink URL insted of esp.to After the trial period has expired, you need to have WL activated to continue to use your URL shortener when generating new codes. However all your codes generated with your shortener in the trial period, will still work after the trial period.
Yes, all the codes generated by your clients with your shortener URL will work normally after the trial period.
If you delete your shortener URL from your WL settings, esp.to shortener will be used instead.
You are fully responsible for keeping your domain active. If you are not in control of your domain any more or your URL DNS are changed all your and your client's QR Codes will stop working.
Yes, but all the trackable codes will be generated with esp.to
Yes. They just won't see stats any more and they can't edit QR Codes.
No, the prices published on our web site are the base rate for everyone. However, you can resell services to your clients for a higher price. When clients log in they will not see any money data or information about Esponce.
The White Label program is a one time payment and it can be renewed yearly.
No, you are responsible for all payments towards Esponce. You have to take care of all of your client's payments. An automated payment system to enable your clients to pay online will be forthcoming in the future.
We will send you notification emails before this happens. We will show you the data for the unpaid period, but codes will work normally. You need to take care of any questions that your clients have.
This is a highly risky area and you should first ask your client where they use the QR Codes. If they are trackable, and, if the QR Codes are placed on products this can become tricky, before you delete any client account you should get confirmation from them in writing.
This is not possible, as API is not rebranded. If you have special requirements please contact us.

API is based on REST Web Service and is intended to technical audience (developers and system administrators).
Not always. Some basic methods, like 'generate' and 'decode' do not require API key. Please, read the API documentation for which methods do require authentication via API key.
